Japan Study Club

Welcome!

Dr. Terasaki and the Nibei Foundation would like to invite you to join the Japan Study Club. The Japan Study Club is a new venture for the Nibei Foundation. Anyone interested in Japan and Japanese culture is invited to join. Once a month, we will have events focusing on various aspects of Japanese culture. Each event involves dinner and a presentation by scholars, performers and professionals on an aspect of Japanese culture.

All events are held at the Terasaki Foundation building:

Admission is $10, including dinner. All events start with a reception and dinner at 6:30, with the main presentation at 7:30. Please visit nibei.org to get to know the next event.

Nibei Foundation

Dr. Paul Terasaki established the Nibei Foundation, a California non-profit organization, in 1998. His vision included providing various forms of support to medical researchers and physicians coming from Japan to engage in medical activities at United States institutions.
Since May, 2002, the researchers, physicians, their families, and local friends have attended a variety of cultural, informativeclasses directed by Japanese Americans. The Foundation has become a hub of cultural exchanges for people with deep, fond roots in America and Japan.
